Q&A with Cooper’s Family: Celebrating 5 Years of Joy and Vitality
1. What’s a favorite moment where Cooper’s vitality from Leap Years really stood out?
One of my favorite moments was watching Cooper at the Jersey Shore. From digging in the sand to swimming in the bay, he handled every bit of terrain with ease. He loves the water so much that I sometimes think he might turn into a fish from all the swimming he does.
2. How would you describe Cooper’s one of a kind personality, and what unique traits make him such a beloved canine companion?
Cooper is truly a man’s best friend. The moment he hears someone waking up, he immediately greets you with a toy, sometimes two or three if you are lucky. If you happen to get up in the middle of the night, you will hear him jump up with his tail wagging even at 3 a.m. He has the best attitude and is always willing to comfort you whenever you need him. His playful curiosity and easygoing charm make him the kind of dog everyone remembers.

3. What prompted you to buy Leap Years for Cooper when it first launched 2.5 years ago, and what did you hope it would do for his health?
I have always loved science, and when Leap Years first launched 2.5 years ago I was eager to give Cooper a supplement that supports healthy aging at the cellular level and overall vitality. I hoped it would help him stay active and vibrant as he grew from a lively pup into a strong adult, and it has exceeded those hopes. Golden Retrievers can be prone to health issues, so I am doing everything I can to ensure he enjoys a long, healthy life.
4. Can you share a special memory with Cooper that captures the deep bond you share, especially meaningful as he approaches his 5th birthday on September 30?
A memory that captures our bond is our morning walks with my father, his pop pop, and me. We call ourselves the boys club and go out for miles at a time. Cooper’s vitality keeps all of us moving and lets us enjoy trails and moments we will never forget.
5. How has Leap Years helped Cooper stay mentally sharp and active over the past 2.5 years, and what changes have you noticed in his daily routine?
Leap Years has kept Cooper mentally alert and physically eager for play. Over the past 2.5 years he has remained quick on his feet, excited for school social time, and full of stamina for hikes and swims. Even while battling Lyme disease, Cooper’s vitality rarely dipped, and we credit that to the Leap Years supplements.

6. With Cooper’s 5th birthday coming up on September 30, what advice would you give other pet parents considering Leap Years based on his experience?
Start early and stay consistent. Leap Years keeps dogs moving and tails wagging. Every birthday matters, so why not help address signs of aging and support healthy aging at the cellular level?
7. How has your connection with Cooper grown over the years, and what’s a daily habit that keeps your bond strong as his pet parent?
Our connection has deepened so much that I barely need to say certain things, it is as if we can read each other’s minds after years of trust. One daily habit that keeps us close is spending time together in the kitchen. We prepare organic vegetables, fruit, and grass fed protein, and he happily acts as the taste tester before we sit down to eat.
8. As Cooper turns 5 on September 30, what’s one aspect of his personality that always brings a smile, and how does it show up in his everyday life?
Cooper’s trademark “fluffy butt” makes everyone grin. He is always wagging his fluffy tail, excited for whatever the day brings. Whether he is welcoming friends at the dog park or greeting me at the door, he is a blessing to me, our entire family, and our neighbors. Cooper brightens every day and is always ready to celebrate a birthday, he is at the center of the action when we sing and open gifts. Thank you, Cooper, for being the best dog anyone can ask for! And thank you Leap Years for allowing us to keep these amazing memories going!
