How Leap Years Works
Over time, your dogโs NAD+ levels naturally decline, impacting their cellsโ ability to function, repair, and replace themselves properly. This leads to diseases and the breakdown of different functions, physical and mental.
Leap Years is the only dual action dog supplement system that targets aging at the source โ the cellular level. Our great tasting soft chews are formulated with LY-D6โข & LY-D2โข, a proprietary combination of an NAD+ Booster derived from nicotinamide (Vitamin B) and a senolytic antioxidant found in fruits and vegetables. Together they work at the cellular level to boost NAD+ levels and reduce senescent (damaged) cells in aging dogs, restoring mobility, heart health and brain function.

For Veterinary Professionals
Leap Yearsยฎ has been a game-changing supplement for my patients. Iโve observed reversion to puppy-like playfulness, restoration of ability to sleep through the night, as well as improved appetite in a 13.5 year-old Spaniel. A 15 year-old large mixed breed patient started playfully romping while on walks with his owner and has been demonstrating improved cognitive function and engagement with his owner and other dogs. I have also seen an improvement in strength and stability, as well as a reduction in symptoms of dementia in a 15 year-old Golden Retriever cancer survivor. The most impressive aspect is that some owners report positive effects in their petsโ quality of life within 2 weeks of starting the supplement, and the most substantial improvements have been in my oldest and most frail patients. As a veterinarian, it is most amazing to be able to offer a product that can give pets better quality time with their people. read more

GENERAL FAQs
Healthy aging means that your dog stays strong and flexible with age. Your dog feels vital, stays cognitively engaged, and doesnโt suffer from age-related diseases and decline. Healthy aging depends on specific genes, epigenetics, blood chemistry and more. Just like for humans, regular exercise, healthy diet, and veterinary checkups, including bloodwork and discussion of goals for your dog go a long way to support healthy aging.
Puppies and young dogs (less than 50% of their expected lifespan based on breed) do not need Leap Years. Young dogs have adequate stores of NAD+ and would not have many senescent cells unless there was concomitant inflammatory disease. A dog would not need Leap Years until adult maturity. NAD+ concentrations start to wane in middle age. Specific diseases should be discussed with your veterinarian.
No. Leap Years has been tested in dogs only and is not labeled for human use. Please keep the soft chews out of reach of children.
