It is supported by a double-blinded, placebo-controlled clinical trial in dogs performed at North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine under the supervision of Natasha Olby, DVM, DACVIM (Neurology). Pharmacokinetic and toxicology studies (up to 30X dosage) have been completed in dogs.
